DARCY GILMORE
Darcy Gilmore’s reputation and career status have granted her opportunities to work with the biggest and best names in entertainment. Her extensive experience, notable accomplishments and profound mastery of makeup and grooming for camera has solidified her as one of the most trusted names in beauty and television.
Darcy is a six-time Emmy nominated Makeup Department Head, four-time IATSE 706 Guild Award nomination and two-time Groomer of the Year nominee from The Hollywood Beauty Awards. She has been an IATSE Journeyman Makeup Artist since 1999. Most predominantly, she runs the makeup department for the hugely successful shows “The Voice,” on NBC for 27 seasons and “Shark Tank “on ABC for 17 seasons; both of which premiered in 2011 and are currently on air. At last count, there were 2500 contestants seen by her for the audition process to date. In addition to supervising these shows as the Department Head, she also has been personally hired as a groomer for Adam Levine, John Legend, Charlie Puth, Jimmy Fallon, Mark Cuban, Maluma, Chance The Rapper, Pharrell, and Sting.
Her grooming work has been featured on L’Oreal Paris Men, YSL Beauty, Porsche, Ferrari, Pro Active, Shure and Architectural Digest to name a few. She has also had the unique experience to groom the band, Maroon 5 for their LIV Super Bowl Halftime Show and has been a personal hire and groomer for the band since 2011 including the successful Las Vegas Park MGM residency. Darcy’s unique skill set, elegant trademark style and masterful understanding of the makeup and grooming required for HD television has led her to brand partnerships, masterclass speaking opportunities and retail launches with MAC Cosmetics (teaching HD and 4k makeup application), Makeup Forever, YSL Beauty, La Prairie Skincare and Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, where she honed her craft of beauty makeup artistry. In fact, Darcy had the honor of being chosen as one of 30 international makeup artists to create a signature eyeshadow for Makeup Forever’s 30/30 Collection, which immediately sold out at Sephora stores.
Recently, Darcy has worked with clients Benny Blanco, Charlie Puth, Alexander Skarsgard, Jeffrey Wright and Domhnall Gleeson all the while maintaining her time and position on “The Voice,” “Shark Tank” and touring with Maroon 5 internationally. She also spent much of 2023 working with Kelly Clarkson on her album release press and as a personal makeup artist with her collaboration on Wayfair.
